Hardscape Installer
Build the interlock patios, walkways, steps and stone walls that anchor our outdoor projects.
About the position
You will work alongside a foreman on our hardscape crews, learning — or bringing — the craft of base preparation, cutting, laying and finishing to a standard we put our name on.
Good installers here grow into lead hands and foremen.
What you'll do
- Excavate, grade and compact aggregate bases to spec
- Lay interlock, slab and natural stone patterns
- Cut and fit pavers, caps and steps cleanly
- Build segmental and natural stone retaining walls
- Install edge restraint, polymeric sand and drainage details
- Keep the site clean, tidy and safe every day
What you bring

Must have
- 1+ year of hardscape or general construction experience
- Comfortable with physical work outdoors in all seasons
- Reliable transportation to the Ottawa yard
- Pride in clean lines and finished detail
Nice to have
- Experience with a quick-cut saw and plate compactor
- ICPI Level 1
- Valid G licence
